The day is not far off when Europe will be forced to radically revise its energy supplies. What will this revolution be like?
Climate change, explosion of oil prices, scarcity of raw materials, geopolitical tensions… Humanity is at the breaking point. Despite the stark initial observations, this film offers us a comforting overview of research and initiatives in the realm of new energy sources. Over the course of interviews with economists, elected officials, architects, farmers, researchers and green activists, a new model of society emerges. Breaking with what 20th-century globalization has left us, it involves taking hold of the future of our energy and food on a local level to re-establish the planet’s global balance.
