Monique Peytral painted the replica of the prehistoric Lascaux cave back in the 1970’s. This gigantic feat kept her busy for a decade. Once the reproduction was completed, she took up her own work again, far from Lascaux. Since then, she has never stopped painting. Totally in love with life, full of wisdom and joy, Peytral is much more than an artist. She’s the interpreter of a message from our prehistoric ancestors. A message that has reached us today, for the benefit of all.
